FAQ

Do you host Sunday brunch events for communions?

Yes – Sunday brunches in the 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. window are our most common format for
communions and baptisms. The buffet typically includes brunch entrées, fresh fruit, breakfast
pastries, and a kid-friendly station. We accommodate the timing of your church service so you
can arrive at the venue 30 to 45 minutes after the service ends without rushing.

Can we bring an outside cake?

Yes, and for communions and baptisms specifically, we waive the standard outside cake cutting
fee. Most families bring a bakery cake from a local shop. We provide the cake table, plates,
forks, and a knife, and our team handles the cutting and serving so you can focus on the family
moment.

Is there a kids’ menu and a non-alcoholic drink option?

Yes. The kids’ menu includes chicken tenders, pasta with butter or red sauce, cheese pizza,
and grilled cheese, all with a fruit or veggie side. For drinks, we run an Italian soda and
lemonade station that the kids treat like a real bar – flavored syrups, garnishes, and fancy
glasses. Adults can do mimosas, champagne, or our standard beverage list.

How quiet is the space – will grandparents be comfortable?

The private back room is acoustically separate from the main restaurant, so background noise is
minimal. We keep music low or turn it off entirely for these events. The room is well-lit during the
day with natural light, the chairs are comfortable for longer seated meals, and we can position
the head table near the entry so older guests don’t have to navigate far.

What’s the typical price range for a 40-person communion brunch?

For a Sunday brunch buffet with mimosas and the kids’ soda bar, most 40-person communion
receptions land in a moderate per-guest range, comparable to a nice restaurant brunch, not a wedding reception. We’ll send a specific quote when you tell us the date and headcount.
Sunday brunches carry lower minimums than Saturday evening events, which is part of why this
format works well for these celebrations.
