Half Day’s private dining setup is built around flexibility. We have a fully private back room for smaller, more intimate dinners; semi-private sections that pull off the main floor for groups that want energy without losing privacy; and full buyouts for larger events that take over the brewery and restaurant.
Every space has access to the same scratch kitchen and the same in-house brewery, which means the food and drink for a private event are the food and drink Half Day is known for – not a stripped-down catering version. Whether it’s a rehearsal dinner, a birthday celebration, or a large gathering, the space works the same way.

Common questions about private dining at Half Day
We work with food and beverage minimums, not flat room fees. The minimum varies based on the space, the day of the week, and the time of year — Friday and Saturday nights in private rooms have higher minimums than a Wednesday lunch, for example. Our team will give you a specific number when you tell us your date and group size.
Yes. Outside cakes and desserts are welcome. We’re happy to handle the cutting and service for your event. We also offer in-house desserts and custom options through our pastry team.
The dining room and private back room are wheelchair-accessible. The patio has a small step at the entry which we can accommodate with a portable ramp on request.
A wireless microphone is available for toasts and brief speeches. Full A/V services, including screens, projection, and enhanced sound, can be arranged for an additional cost based on your event needs.
For weekend private dining, four to eight weeks is typical. For Q4 holiday season, October and November dates start filling in August. Weekday lunches and Sunday afternoons can often be booked closer to the date.
